In order to provide professional reflexology treatments, we collect and store the following information:

  • Treatment details and related notes

Most of the personal information we process is provided directly by you to:


  • Inform reflexology treatments and any advice given as a result of your treatment
  • Provide the best possible treatment options, support, and advice
  • Offer access to newsletters, blogs, and promotional offers (optional)


We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law.


Lawful Basis for Holding and Using Client Information 

Under the UK GDPR, the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information includes:


  • Your consent – You can withdraw this at any time by contacting clare@clsr.co.uk.
  • Legal obligation – For insurance and professional record-keeping purposes:


  1. Records must be kept for 7 years after the last treatment
  2. Children's records must be kept until age 25 (or age 26 if treated at 17)
  3. CNHC requirements to retain information for 8 years


  • Legitimate interest – Retaining information to provide the best possible treatment options and advice


As special category data (health-related information) is collected, we process it under our role as healthcare practitioners, bound by AoR Confidentiality and Ethics.


How We Store Your Personal Information


We are committed to protecting your personal data and have security measures in place to prevent unauthorised access. Your information is stored securely and retained as per the legal requirements outlined above. After the required period, data is securely deleted or shredded.

Therapist’s Rights


If you do not agree to CLS Reflexology keeping records necessary for treatment, we may not be able to provide services. Records must be retained for legal and insurance purposes as outlined above.
